 Kale is an amazing vegetable that comes from the Cabbage family (cruciferous), and also related to the broccoli, cauliflower, collard greens and brussel sprouts.

 

Kale comes in numerous form, some are green, purple and some come in smooth consistency , or curly.

 

The most consumed type of Kale is the Scots kale, which is green and has a hard stem.

 

The best thing about Kale is it is low in calorie, high in nutrient and is a powerful antioxidant.

 

Kale is an excellent source of Vitamin C, higher than most vegetables and even contains more Vitamin C than a whole ORANGE- That's Amazing RIGHT?

 

Kale lower's Cholesterol and reduces the risk of heart disease.

 

 

Kale is one of the best forms of vitamin K, which is extremely beneficial  for healthy blood flow.

Kale is has protective effects against cancer due to the sulforaphane, which has been know to fight the formation of cancer at the molecular level.

 

Kale is a great for salads, saute in olive oil, add to smoothies or baked kale for a snack.

Also, a great weight loss food, since it's low in calories and great in nutrients.

 

So, if you want to boost your nutrients and loose weight-
